Amen, Mr. Emerson!!!

Saw this great quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson!! While I don't agree with a lot of his philosophy, this is good stuff:

 Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Reminds me of what Paul said in Philippians 3:13-14!! Let go of yesterday, treasure its good memories, learn from its mistakes and press forward to what Christ has in store for you!

"He calms the storm so that its waves are still. Then they are glad because they are quiet. So He guides them to their desired haven" Today, I am grateful for the deliverance of the Lord. For my salvation and adoption into His family through the precious blood of Jesus Christ and also for the work that He has done in my life and in the life of the one I love so dearly these past several months! Let the redeemed of the Lord say so!!!
